William Hummell, in addition to being a Partner in Kucker & Bruh, LLP, is a Senior Attorney with vast experience and has had substantial success on client matters. His practice areas include:

  • Business Law, including risk management, insurance coverage disputes, formulation of business agreements, commercial disputes, corporation law, limited liability company law, partnership law, business governance, agreements among corporation shareholders, operating agreements for limited liability companies, partnership agreements, dissolution of corporations, and windup of partnerships.
  • Employment Law, including employment agreements, employee benefits (pension and welfare benefits), the rights of employees and employers under ERISA, Portability Act, employee disability claims, employee disputes concerning work circumstances, pension/benefits disputes, discrimination claims (e.g., alleged age or sex discrimination), alleged harassment or hostile environment, civil rights claims, Equal Employment Opportunity claims, New York Executive Law, Human Rights Law claims, and the defense of OSHA claims.
  • Litigation, including complex civil actions, multi-jurisdictional disputes, federal and state court litigation (all manner of pretrial proceedings, declaratory relief, injunctive relief, provisional remedies, and trials), mediation, arbitration, administrative law, administrative proceedings, and appeals.
